JERUSALEM - Nov. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Micro BVM announced today that it will supply El Al, Israel’s national airline, with its revolutionary Pocket BVM resuscitation devices. The Pocket BVM was awarded an exclusive contract with the airline and was chosen due to its compact size, ease of use and extended-life storage which make it the optimal solution for flight attendants or medically-trained passengers who have to respond to emergencies mid-flight.
The Pocket BVM is an innovative bag valve mask which unlike any other product on the market folds into a protective case. The case allows for easy storage and maneuverability. The Pocket BVM uses less than ¼ of the space compared to regular-sized resuscitators, yet, once unfolded, the unit looks and operates as a standard BVM. The Pocket BVM has become the resuscitator of choice for branches of the US military, NATO forces, international SWAT teams and civilian emergency medical first response teams around the globe.
El Al’s head of Rescue & Firefighting Services, Mr. Nir Servi said: “The safety of our passengers is naturally El Al’s first priority. We were very impressed by the Pocket BMV and its capabilities as well as its proven track record. The fact that it is highly compact and securely packaged are important factors for us since space on airlines is highly limited.”
“Micro BVM understands the needs of its varied clients and their unique operating environments. We view El Al’s fleet-wide order as a vote of confidence in our field-tested product and innovative approach to emergency response” said Mr. Dov Maisel, Micro BVM’s Co-founder.
